Shipping

How much is shipping and which areas do you deliver to?

We ship Australia-wide and use postcode-based shipping with three simple zones: Metro Areas, Non-Remote Areas and Remote Areas.

  • Metro Areas (all states)

    Orders up to $29: Standard Shipping (excl. bulky items*) – flat rate $6 per order
    Orders over $29 and up to $100: Standard Shipping – flat rate $10 per order
    Orders over $100: Free Standard Shipping (excl. bulky items*)
    Express Shipping – flat rate $15 per order

  • Non-Remote Areas (all states)

    Orders up to $29: Standard Shipping – flat rate $7 per order
    Orders over $29 and up to $100: Standard Shipping – flat rate $12 per order
    Orders over $100: Free Standard Shipping (excl. bulky items*)
    Express Shipping – flat rate $18 per order

  • Remote Areas

    Orders up to $29: Standard Shipping – flat rate $9.99 per order
    Orders over $29: shipping is calculated based on distance and service availability.

How long will delivery take?

  • All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
  • Standard delivery usually takes 2 - 6 business days depending on your parcel destination (8-10 business days for western states and remote areas).
  • Depending on your parcel destination, express delivery usually takes 1 - 5 business days.
  • Please expect delays on holidays or during high-volume seasons.

How can I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details from our delivery partners (Australia Post, Sendle, PFL Logistics or Couriers Please). You can use these details to follow your parcel online.

Our website also supports order tracking – if you would like to check your delivery status, simply click the Track my order button on our site or in the chat.

Returns and Refunds

What is your returns policy?

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

For all return requests please contact support@discountpackagingwarehouse.com.au and include the following information

  • Invoice & order number
  • Order name 
  • Item/s that you wish to return 
  • Reason for return 
  • Any additional details listed below

Do NOT return until you have contacted us and told you to do so. All returns will need to be sent to the following address: 1a/19 Berry St, Clyde, NSW, 2142, Australia. 

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. Please together email photos of the item. We will resolve the issue asap.

You do not have to pay the return shipping fee.

Return by change of mind

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

You may have to pay the return shipping fee.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Ordering

Does the Packaging Place have a pick-up point?

We have opened our first pick-up point in Clyde. Pick-up is available one working day after placing your order online (Of course, we can also mail it to you). Our pick-up point is located at 1a/19 Berry St, Clyde, NSW, 2142, Australia.

Open: 9:30 am - 5:00 pm. Our online catalog contains comprehensive information on our entire product range.

Do you offer bulk pricing or custom quotes?

Yes. For large quantity orders or custom packaging, we offer one-to-one tailored quotes. Please share the product size, reference images, quantity, product name, intended use and any personalised requirements, and our team will get back to you with a quote as soon as possible.

Can I get an invoice for my order?

Yes. An order confirmation is generated when you place your order. If you need an invoice for your business records (for example with your company name or ABN), please contact us and we will be happy to assist.

What if I want to speak to someone?

We want to speak to you too! Contact us with any questions, concerns, or feedback. We will be sure to get back to you within 24 hours. However, please note that inquiries sent on Fridays will receive a reply the following Monday, but possibly sooner.

Do your products meet Australian environmental standards?

Yes, our packaging products comply with Australian environmental standards. We predominantly use eco-friendly materials, such as renewable paper and biodegradable plastics, to minimize our impact on the environment. Additionally, we have stringent controls in place to manage waste and emissions during the production process, maximizing resource efficiency through recycling and reuse.

Are your products subjected to quality inspection?

We have a dedicated quality control team that rigorously selects raw materials and conducts multiple inspections and tests throughout the production process. We adhere to international quality standards and continuously improve and optimize our manufacturing processes to ensure that each product maintains excellent quality and durability.
